Job Description:

  • Prepping 3 flavors of bars, 3 flavors of cookies, and various packaging formats
  • Cutting and packaging delicate bakery squares with care and speed
  • Following designated rules for rotating inventory and putting away stock
  • Applying correct expiry dates to products, applying stickers to packaging
  • Doing dishes
  • General cleaning, mopping
  • Assembling and taping corrugated boxes
  • Adhering to food safety standards
  • Assisting bakers with other production tasks
  • Using scale and some handling of raw ingredients and measuring

Job Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of baking experience
  • Team work and a positive attitude
  • Flexibility with shifts (5AM –(PM)
  • Kitchen experience in busy environments
  • Working to meet quotas
  • Motivated and fast worker who excels at inspiring others to work efficiently and to a high standard
  • Good with hands
  • Able to work long hours (9hrs) safely and easily lift 50lbs
  • A keen eye for detail, and high standards

Job Description:

  • Prepare, cook and serve meals in consultation with the Property Manager, according to Canada’s Food Guide and budget
  • Daily cleaning and tidying of the kitchen area (dishes, cutlery, etc.) to the Department of Health Standards of Hygiene
  • Maintain kitchen equipment in good working condition by regular, scheduled cleaning, including freezers
